LED display frequently used signal interpretation

CLK Clock Signal: A shift pulse supplied to the shift register. Each pulse will cause data to be shifted in or out by one bit. The data on the data port must coordinate with the clock signal to transmit the data normally. The data signal frequency must be 1/2 times the frequency of the clock signal. In any case, when the clock signal is abnormal, the entire board will be disorganized.


STB latch signal: The shift register data sent to the latch, and its data content through the drive circuit lights LED is displayed. However, as the drive circuit is controlled by the EN enable signal, the lighting conditions must be enabled. The latched signal also needs to be coordinated with the clock signal to show the complete picture. In any case, when the latch signal is abnormal, the entire board will be disorganized.


EN Enable signal: Full screen brightness control signal, also used for display blanking. Just adjust its duty cycle can control the brightness changes. When the enable signal appears abnormal, the whole screen will appear no light, dark light or trailing phenomenon.


Data Signal: Provides the data needed to display the image. It must be coordinated with the clock signal to send data to any one display point. General red, green and blue in the display data signal separated, if a data signal is shorted to the positive or negative, then the corresponding color will appear full or not, when the data signal is dangling the corresponding color display The situation is uncertain.


ABCD line signal: only dynamic scan display exists, ABCD is actually a binary number, A is the lowest bit, if the binary ABCD signal control maximum range is 16 lines (1111), 1/4 scan as long as the AB signal can Because the range of the AB signal is 4 lines (11). When the line control signal appears abnormal, there will be displayed dislocation, highlight or image overlap and so on.
