As with any electronic device, LED display boards have a price that is set according to several parameters. These include the pixel pitch, the size of the LED board, and the LED display technology used in making the display. This means the coarser the pixel pitch, the lower the resolution of the board and the price piched, but a tiny pitch would mean a high advanced price, which means better manufacturing processes needed. Also affects the price are the dimensions of the board. Consumption of manufacturing materials and resources increases with the size of the board, leading to a greater cost to produce the display. Additional this, type of LED technology utilized also affects the price. Two types are SMD (Surface Mount Device) and COB (Chip-on-Board). With COB being more expensive due to high levels of toughness and efficiency. Aside from other features that could increase the prices such as higher brightness, wider viewing angles and better control systems, brand and customer demand is also needed to be considered as primary for deciding the value the display model would be at. Moreover, popular brand names tend to charge higher prices, especially when their products are in high demand.
